Man United boss Erik ten Hag 'holds multiple video calls with Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojlund over a summer switch to Old Trafford'... as the Red Devils set their sights on alternative options to first-choice target Harry Kane

Erik ten Hag has reportedly held multiple video calls with Rasmus Hojlund, as the Manchester United manager steps up his interest in the Atalanta forward.

Erik ten Hag is keen to add to his front line in the coming months to ease the burden on Marcus Rashford next season.

He has identified Harry Kane as his first-choice target, but Tottenham are reportedly adamant that they will not be selling their star striker to the Red Devils, and would prefer to lose him for free next summer.

Mail Sport recently reported that United have also been keeping tabs on Hojlund, and they now appear to have stepped up their interest in the 20-year-old.
