Man United are accused of being scared of offending their Russian fans after using the words 'opposition forces' - rather than 'Russian troops' - to describe the soldiers who gunned down a founder of their Kyiv supporters' group and his wife and daughter

Manchester United have been accused of putting their interests in Russia ahead of paying proper tribute to one of their most prominent supporters in Ukraine, who has been tragically murdered by Russian forces.

Shocking details have emerged of the death of Aleksander Kukin, one of the founding members of the Kyiv Reds supporters club, who was shot and killed by Russian invaders while trying to help his wife and daughter flee the war-torn Ukrainian capital.

Kukin's wife, Alina, and daughter were seriously injured in the attack and are now recovering in hospital having undergone surgery.
