Manchester United wonderkid Alejandro Garnacho's ankle injury is 'worse than first expected', according to reports in Argentina.
The 18-year-old, who has broken into the first team this season, limped off in United's 0-0 draw against Southampton after a firm but fair sliding tackle from Kyle Walker-Peters.
Garnacho, who had come on as a substitute in the 73rd minute, seemed in agony on the Old Trafford pitch after the challenge on 82 minutes but played on for a further eight before being taken off in the final minute.
After the match, Red Devils manager Erik ten Hag insisted his starlet's injury was not 'too bad',
But Argentine TV channel TyC Sports are reporting that Garnacho's knock is actually worse than initially feared and means he will miss the country's double header this month.
