Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius believes Manchester United tactics were 'compliment' in stalemate

Loris Karius believes the conservative approach of Jose Mourinho's Manchester United should be seen as a 'compliment' for Liverpool.

In the 0-0 stalemate at Anfield, United recorded their lowest ever possession statistics since Opta began recording in 2003.

With just 35 per cent of the ball, Mourinho's side set out their stall to contain the opposition but Karius saw the positives for his home side.
