Manchester United have secured Champions League football after edging a tense and nervy encounter with fellow contenders Leicester.
Bruno Fernandes was the hero once again for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men despite a largely underwhelming performance from the Portuguese playmaker. Anthony Martial had been felled inside the penalty area after a duel challenge from Jonny Evans and Wes Morgan, and Fernandes coolly fired home.
A deft header from Jamie Vardy, in search of the opener that may have propelled Leicester back to the promised land instead, had clipped off the angle of crossbar and post as the hosts came close to a memorable result.
