Players in the Women's Super League have been voting to establish the standout performers during last season, ahead of the PFA Awards ceremony in Manchester next week.
Le Tissier and Clinton have both made the final six, alongside former United Women player Lauren James, who now plays competitively for Chelsea. The other nominees are Aggie Beever-Jones (Chelsea), Khiara Keating and Jess Park (both Manchester City).
The winner of the award will be announced at Manchester Opera House on Tuesday 20 August.
Le Tissier's nomination comes on the back of a really fine season for the Reds, which climaxed with the capture of our first major piece of silverware – the Adobe Women's FA Cup – since the team was formed in 2018.
