Ladd is United Women’s Player of the Year

The midfielder, who joined the Reds from Birmingham City last summer, was one of two players who featured in every single game for United across all competitions last term, along with captain Katie Zelem.

From Ladd’s 21 appearances, she scored one goal, but it was a particularly memorable strike during an 11-1 win over Leicester City in the Continental League Cup.

The Welsh international chipped the Foxes goalkeeper Scarlett Field from all of 30 yards in that convincing win last November, which was one of our best goals of the campaign.

However, it’s Ladd’s exceptional defensive displays that stood out in 2019/20.
