Kasper Schmeichel could leave Nice a year after joining from Leicester, according to a new report which claims the goalkeeper is causing friction at the club.

The 36-year-old Danish shotstopper joined Nice in August 2022, after being a Premier League winner with the Foxes.

But Schmeichel's adaption to Nice has not been straightforward, and it is now claimed that some of his new team-mates are annoyed by his methods.

L'Equipe believe that Schmeichel's 'a la carte' training schedule, coupled with a lack of leadership, are raising tensions at the club in France's south-east region.
