Julian Nagelsmann wants Leon Goretzka to stay at Bayern Munich 'for many years' and hopes he'll extend his stay amid Man United links after entering final year of his deal

Julian Nagelsmann wants Leon Goretzka to stay at Bayern Munich for 'many more years' and commit his future to the club amid reports linking him with Manchester United.

The 26-year-old has entered the final year of his deal with Bayern, which has led to the Red Devils to consider a move and get him for a cut-price deal this summer.

The German midfielder has become a crucial player for both club and country and would prove to be a shrewd purchase for any of Europe's elite.

And while Bayern CEO Oliver Kahn has confirmed that talks with the player over an extension are 'going well', Nagelsmann is hoping that Goretzka will not have his head turned by a Premier League club and will instead help him usher in a new era at the Allianz Arena.
