Former Manchester United midfielder Juan Sebastian Veron is set to come out of retirement at the age of 41.
The Argentine is training again with his boyhood club Estudiantes after promising to return for the 2017 Copa Libertadores if fans bought 65 per cent of boxes at the club's new stadium.
After bringing down the curtain on his playing career in 2014 after spells with United, Lazio, Chelsea and Inter, Veron, who is president of the La Plata club, trained on Wednesday ahead of his comeback.

After taking part in his own personal training programme, Veron played under the watchful eye of manager and former Arsenal defender Nelson Vivas.
