Jose Mourinho is set to extend an olive branch to Henrikh Mkhitaryan by offering him a new deal to extend his stay at Roma.
The 32-year-old's contract expires at the end of June and after it was confirmed that Mourinho would replace Paulo Fonseca, it seemed likely that the Armenian would be leaving Rome due to their tense relationship at former club Manchester United.
However, according to The Mirror Mkhitaryan has reportedly been offered a new two year deal worth £3.8million a season, and must decide within the next 48 hours whether he accepts or opts to become a free agent.
