Joey Barton believes Luke Shaw needs to leave Manchester United as soon as possible, or risk damaging his once-promising career even more.
Shaw’s future at Old Trafford is under the spotlight again after he was hauled off at half-time in Saturday's 2-0 FA Cup quarter-final victory against Brighton, with Jose Mourinho saying he was angry with the left-back for not following his tactical instructions.
Reports following the game have claimed United players were left ‘stunned’ by Mourinho’s harsh reaction and even accused the boss of ‘bullying’ the 22-year-old.

Shaw has struggled with persistent injury troubles since his £27million arrival from Southampton in 2014, and appears to be one of a few players Mourinho just hasn’t faced since taking charge at Old Trafford.
