Prior to Sunday’s win over Burnley, there were plenty of calls for Manchester United to sack manager Jose Mourinho after an embarrassing 3-0 loss to Spurs the week before.
Mourinho stated after the match that he’s not worried about being fired given the fact that it would cost the Reds too much money to let him go.
“They say I’m in danger, but I don’t think it,” he said. “If they send me away, do you have any idea how much money they would have to give me?”
Mourinho is right after he signed a new contract back in January that will keep him around until 2020.
