Jose Mourinho has told Manchester United fans it will ‘not be the end of the world’ if Manchester City win the Premier League title on derby day.
City need a victory at the Etihad on Saturday evening to be crowned champions, and Mourinho has promised to try and delay the celebration so United supporters don’t have to witness it.
But the Old Trafford boss reminded them that he clinched his second title at Chelsea by beating United in 2006, and it did not spell disaster for the club.
‘Look, I won the title at Chelsea against Manchester United,’ said Mourinho.
