Manchester united boss Jose Mourinho has dropped the biggest hint yet that Henrikh Mkhitaryan could be on his way out the exit door at Old Trafford.

The United boss omitted the Armenian from the squad to face Stoke on Monday night, with a potential swap deal with Arsenal for Alexis Sanchez being touted.

'I would lie if I said it was a pure tactical decision,' Mourinho told Sky Sports ahead of the match at Old Trafford. 'It was just a choice of the players that we know, in this moment, they have 100 per cent their heads in Manchester United.
