Michael Carrick has challenged his social media followers to come up with a better quarantine XI based on household items in a hilarious video.

With the UK placed on lockdown seemingly for the foreseeable future due to the coronavirus pandemic, finding ways to keep entertained is proving tricky.

But Manchester United coach Carrick has formulated the ingenious idea of naming a team of footballers based on items he could find around his house.
