Fans have taken to social media to praise Scott McTominay for his performance during Manchester United's 3-1 win over Burnley on Thursday evening.
The Scotland international opened the scoring for Manchester United in the eighth minute of the game after curling one past Wayne Hennessey from the edge of the box.
Supporters said McTominay's man-of-the-match performance at Old Trafford drew similarities to that of Paul Scholes, Zinedine Zidane and Pirlo as they praised the 25-year-old's tenacity on the pitch.
