Iran fans have been pictured mocking England defender Harry Maguire with banners ahead of the 2022 World Cup clash between the two sides.

The Three Lions are set to open their World Cup campaign against Group B opponents Iran at the Khalifa Stadium later this afternoon.

The excitement is already building with fans gathering outside the ground already with some Iranian supporters posing with banners to banter Manchester United and England star Maguire ahead of the match.
