Juan Mata has insisted he has no plans to retire from top-level football this summer.
The former Manchester United favourite has been in San Diego, promoting the Reds' pre-season fixture against Real Betis on 31 July at the Snapdragon Stadium.
In an exclusive interview with MUTV's Sam Homewood, the 36-year-old spoke of his desire to play on, after leaving J-League club Vissel Kobe.

"It's been great, to be honest," he said of life post-United. "First Istanbul, Turkey, playing for Galatasaray and getting to know a different culture, different country, winning the league.
