Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera is being targeted by incoming Barcelona boss Ernesto Valverde, according to reports in Spain.
Barcelona are yet to announce Luis Enrique's successor at the Nou Camp, although Valverde is widely expected to take charge of the Catalan giants after leaving Athletic Bilbao at the end of the domestic season in Spain.
The 53-year-old has already begun planning his summer transfer business and has Herrera down as a top target, according to reports in Spanish newspaper Sport.
Sport claims that Valverde 'slipped Herrera's name' into talks this week as he looks to build a squad capable of taking back the La Liga title next season.
