‘If you score 700 goals on a Sunday morning, that would take some doing’: Paul Merson argues Cristiano Ronaldo is the BEST finisher of ALL-TIME and it’s the Man United team that has made his second spell at the club a struggle

Paul Merson has hailed Cristiano Ronaldo as the best finisher of all time after the Manchester United forward netted his 700th club career goal.

The 37-year-old netted the landmark goal during United's 2-1 Premier League win against Everton at Goodison Park last weekend.

Ronaldo has struggled for form and game time this season under new manager Erik ten Hag, as the Dutchman has preferred to give minutes to the squad's younger forwards, such as Marcus Rashford and summer signing Antony.
