Manchester United and Chelsea have been given a boost in their pursuit of Federico Chiesa, with his club Fiorentina admitting they are willing to sell him at the right price.
United have long admired the Italy international and scouted the £60m rated winger as recently as February.
However, Chelsea's interests have also grown in recent weeks and the Premier League duo will have to battle each other as well as Serie A giants Juventus and Inter Milan to land the 22-year-old.
Fiorentina's owner Rocco Commisso admitted he would not stand in the way of Chiesa, whose father Enrico was also an Italy star, should he wish to leave.
