Julian Nagelsmann has hailed Manchester United's expected appointment of Ralf Rangnick as their interim manager until the end of the season - and believes the veteran tactician will help transform the struggling club.
Rangnick, 63, has reached an agreement to take charge at Old Trafford on a six-month contract, and will then take up a two-year consultancy role. He has influenced many of the game's best coaches, with Nagelsmann among them.
And, speaking at Bayern Munich's pre-match press conference this afternoon, Nagelsmann says Rangnick - his former mentor - will do 'very well' in his new role.
