The Manchester United legend joined the cast of the BBC show for the very first time last night alongside regular tycoons Peter Jones, Deborah Meaden, Touker Suleyman, Sara Davies and Steven Bartlett.

Despite a dizzying array business ventures ranging from part-owning League Two club Salford City with his former team-mates to two luxury Manchester hotels, some had questioned whether the Red Devil had what it took to become a dragon.
