Hojlund and Eriksen can see progress

Danish pals Rasmus Hojlund and Christian Eriksen are in agreement that things are starting to click with Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim's system.

There have been clear signs that patterns of play are starting to emerge, even though it has taken time for the new tactics to be implemented effectively, as the Reds approach Sunday's away game at Newcastle United in 13th place in the Premier League.

Denied what would have been an excellent win against Lyon on Thursday, in the Europa League, by Rayan Cherki's equaliser towards the end of stoppage time, Amorim's men are seeking a positive performance again on Tyneside, before the second leg next week.
