Rio Ferdinand has eaten humble pie after admitting he was wrong about Christian Eriksen at Manchester United.
The Danish midfielder joined the Red Devils on a free transfer from Brentford - but the TV pundit believed it would not go well for either him or his former club.
Ferdinand said Eriksen would only amount to being a 'squad player', and saying he would be surprised if the Dane became a regular starter for Erik ten Hag's men.
Eriksen has proven himself at Old Trafford during their recent good form, starting all six games so far, and getting an assist in Manchester United's 3-1 home win over Arsenal on Sunday.
