Rio Ferdinand has backed Manchester United's pursuit of highly-rated teenage Jude Bellingham but warned his former club that spending £30million on him would be 'a gamble'.
United are one of a number of Europe's elite clubs tracking the Birmingham City starlet following an impressive breakout season in the Championship.
Borussia Dortmund are among those in the hunt for the 16-year-old's signature but Ferdinand thinks Bellingham is a 'huge talent', even if he would be an expensive acquisition.

'Jude Bellingham, huge talent, huge talent, really good-looking footballer in the way he plays, the balance he's got, the maturity at such a young age,' Ferdinand said during an Instagram Live.
