Roy Keane has lifted the lid on what it was like to play under 'genius' Brian Clough and insists his former boss would have no problem coping with the modern game.
The Irishman was brought to England by Clough in 1990 when he joined Nottingham Forest from Cobh Ramblers for just £47,000.
Keane, who was just 19 when he started working with the former Derby manager, went on to play three seasons under Clough before he retired from the dugout after suffering relegation in the first ever Premier League campaign.
Keane sealed a move to Manchester United at the end of the same season (1992-93) and, despite going on to experience huge success under Sir Alex Ferguson at Old Trafford, has never put the legendary Scot in the same bracket as Clough.
