Gordon Strachan insists his long-running feud with Sir Alex Ferguson is now over.
The Scotland manager fell out with Ferguson after the former Aberdeen and Manchester United boss claimed he ‘couldn’t be trusted an inch’ in his autobiography.
However, in a wide-ranging interview to mark his 60th birthday, Strachan reveals the pair have since made up and compares the row to feuding siblings being reunited after clearing the air.
Their respective sons, Gavin and Darren, now work together as the management team at Doncaster Rovers and Strachan says he speaks with Sir Alex on a regular basis.
