Goals video: Manchester United 1 Sevilla 2

Manchester United bowed out of the UEFA Champions League at the last-16 stage after a disappointing defeat against Sevilla on Tuesday night.

Following a goalless draw in Spain in the first leg three weeks ago, it was winner takes all at Old Trafford in the second leg.

The Reds came close to scoring in the first half when Marouane Fellaini was denied by Sevilla goalkeeper Sergio Rico after linking up well with Alexis Sanchez.

But the Spanish visitors took control in the second period as substitute Wissam Ben Yedder, just 87 seconds after coming off the bench, curled a shot into the bottom corner to score the all-important first strike in the tie in the 74th minute.
