Getafe find themselves in a win-win situation with Mason Greenwood, with the LaLiga side reportedly holding a 20 per cent sell on clause should the Manchester United striker go elsewhere at the end of the season.
Greenwood made the season-long move to the Madrid-based side on loan in September and has proven to be a hit, with four goals and three assists through 13 matches.
There appears to no future for Greenwood at Manchester United, and the Athletic claim that while Getafe are 'weighing up' making a permanent move for him, they are set to be in the money either way thanks to a previously unknown clause.
