German Football Association president Bernd Neuendorf has revealed that discussions have taken place with Julian Nagelsmann about the possibility of extending his contract.
Nagelsmann's current deal is set to expire after Euro 2024 and he has been linked with clubs including Liverpool and Manchester United.
However, Neuendorf is eager for the 36-year-old could remain in charge of Germany.
Neuendorf told ZDF: 'It would be absolutely desirable from our side (to extend Nagelsmann's contract).
'We're a good team, we get on well, we're in intensive dialogue.'
