Pundits Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher have engaged in a spirited exchange on Twitter ahead of Manchester United's second Premier fixture at Brentford.
The online sparring began after Neville posted a Tweet asking for opinions on Saturday's game at the Gtech Community Stadium.
The Liverpool legend was quick to quote tweet his colleague, writing:
'I’m thinking you will call for the Glazers to sell the club, after not saying it once while they paid you.'
Never one to take banter lying down, Neville pointed out the success United had enjoyed during his years with the club:

The former Valencia manager then shared a screenshot of an article from 2011 in which Carragher had said that then-Liverpool owners Tom Hicks and George Gillet had to take some responsibility for the failings at the club.
