England manager Gareth Southgate is expected to hold talks with Scott McTominay on Friday in a bid to persuade him to play for the Three Lions rather than Scotland.
Southgate is involved in a tussle with new Scots boss Alex McLeish, who met with the Manchester United starlet at the club's Carrington training ground on Thursday to hold a similar discussion.
According to The Times, Southgate is desperate for McTominay to commit his international allegiance to England and will pitch his case to the youngster.

It is understood the 21-year-old midfielder is torn between England, his country of birth, and Scotland, who he qualifies for through his Glasgow-born father.
