Galatasaray's initial effort to sign Man United star Fred stalls with a 'gap in valuation' between the two clubs... while Fulham are also interested in the Brazilian midfielder

Galatasaray are reportedly interested in signing Manchester United midfielder Fred, but the two clubs have not agreed on a valuation.

The Brazilian midfielder was brought to United by Jose Mourinho in a £52m deal back in 2018.

Though Mourinho would be sacked just months later, the former Shakhtar Donetsk star has remained a consistent feature of the United midfield.

However, as Erik ten Hag looks to continue overhauling his squad heading into his second season at the club, the Brazil international is expected to depart this summer.

Galatasaray have emerged as frontrunners to sign Fred, but according to a report from Sky Sports, initial discussions between the two clubs have indicated a gap in each team's valuation of the player.
