The Lawman sadly passed away on 17 January, aged 84, prompting a wave of tributes from the United family, including emotional scenes at our men’s matches against Brighton & Hove Albion and Scottish giants Rangers.
On Tuesday afternoon, Law’s funeral procession drove across the Old Trafford forecourt to allow our supporters to pay their respects and say one final goodbye to The King of the Stretford End.
In poignant scenes, fans applauded the only man to have two statues at our historic stadium. You can watch that moment below.
United chief executive Omar Berrada, head coach Ruben Amorim, captain Bruno Fernandes and senior players Harry Maguire and Tom Heaton were all part of the congregation at Manchester Cathedral, where Law’s funeral took place.
