France have called up Monaco midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko to replace Paul Pogba in the squad for games against Luxembourg and Spain this month, the French Football Federation have confirmed.
Pogba, 24, limped out of Manchester United's Europa League round-of-16 victory against FC Rostov on Thursday and subsequently pulled out of Didier Deschamps' squad.
That means a first call-up for the highly rated 22-year-old Monaco man, who has caught the eye in Ligue 1 and the Champions League this season, leading to reports that United have scouted him.
Monaco currently top Ligue 1, three points ahead of Paris Saint-Germain, and beat Manchester City to reach the Champions League quarterfinals earlier in the week.
