Jordi Cruyff has been appointed as the new manager of Israeli Premier Division club Maccabi Tel Aviv.
The Dutchman, son of legendary former Barcelona and Ajax star Johan Cruyff, has spent the last five years as sporting director of the Israeli club but has now stepped up to lead the first team.
He takes over from Angolan Lito Vidigal, who left at the end of last season having guided the club to second place in the Israeli Premier League and Europa League qualification.
