Andrei Kanchelskis has revealed how he unwittingly told Sir Alex Ferguson to 'f*** off' and called him a 'Scottish b******' not long after being signed by the legendary Manchester United manager.
Kanchelskis joined the Red Devils in March 1991 from Shakhtar Donetsk in a £650,000 deal.
Coming from the then-Soviet Union, the Ukrainian-born Russian knew little English as he made the transition to the Premier League.
And unknowingly to him, his new Old Trafford team-mates saw it as the perfect opportunity to cause some mischief at his expense with a light-hearted language prank.
