Former Manchester United striker Edinson Cavani had a moment to forget in Boca Juniors' Copa Sudamericana clash with Nacional Potosi on Wednesday night.
Cavani, 37, who spent two years at Old Trafford between 2020 and 2022, joined Boca last summer and has enjoyed a positive first year in Argentina, but he missed a sitter in his latest outing for the club.
He looked set for a certain goal as he raced into the penalty box and latched onto a cross from his team-mate, but he somehow tapped the ball wide of the target from just three yards out, despite having the whole of the goal to aim at.
