A former Manchester United star has been handed a four-month suspended prison sentence after being pulled over for 'dangerous driving'.
The incident occurred last August when the player went on holiday to Monaco and visited two nightclubs before deciding to get behind the wheel of his Rolls Royce.
He was stopped by the police in the early hours of the morning and breathalysed, returning a blood alcohol level of 1.01 per millilitre, which exceeded the accepted limit in Monaco.
Dutch footballer Memphis Depay was handed his sentence by a court in Monaco on Wednesday, and was given a four-month suspended sentence as well as a €9,000 (£7,500) fine and a two-year driving ban in Monaco.
