Former Italy coach Cesare Prandelli has backed Federico Chiesa to establish himself as European football's top player as the young Italian star continues to attract admirers across the continent.
Despite his club sitting in 13th place in Serie A, Chiesa has enjoyed a strong season for La Viola, scoring seven goals and providing five assists in 26 games for the club.
That sort of form has caught the eye of a host of top clubs, with Manchester United and Paris Saint Germain said to be interested in acquiring the 22-year-old, although the Italian club are said to be desperate to keep hold of their star.
