Karen Carney has slammed Manchester United for their handing of Mason Greenwood, stating she felt 'really uneasy' with the way the club dealt with the situation.
This comes after it was announced that the forward will leave the club by mutual decision.
The 21-year-old, who was arrested in January 2022 on suspicion of a number of offences including attempted rape, will not play for the club again and is likely to leave on loan or see his contract settled.
Speaking on Sky Sports' Monday Night Football, Carney said: 'I empathise with anyone that’s been through or has been triggered by the conversations that we’ve been having.
