Robin van Persie is to return to his boyhood club Feyenoord after leaving Turkish club Fenerbahce on a free transfer.
He is expected to sign for the Rotterdam-based club in the next coming days.
The former Arsenal and Manchester United player left the Dutch side for the Gunners in 2004 after having an impressive beginning to his career.
The Netherlands international spent eight seasons at Arsene Wenger's side before moving to rivals Manchester United in 2012, where he won the Premier League in his debut season at the Red Devils.
Van Persie moved to Fenerbahce in 2015 where he scored 25 goals in 57 appearances.
