Fire crews are tackling a blaze at Manchester United's Old Trafford stadium.
Smoke was seen billowing from the roof of the football ground this morning, with locals reporting fire alarms going off from 7am.
It is understood the fire started in a lift motor room in the stadium's South Stand, due to a faulty elevator.
Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service said they sent three engines to the ground from nearby Manchester, Salford and Stretford.
