Setting the scene… The road to Wembley begins for the Reds as we begin our journey in the Emirates FA Cup with a third-round tie against a Derby County side who are vying for promotion in the Championship. For the first time since our opening home league game of 2016/17 against Southampton, it’s Friday night football under the lights at the Theatre of Dreams. After the impressive 2-0 win at Everton on New Year’s Day, the Reds will look to continue our winning start to 2018 by booking a place in the fourth round of the famous cup competition with victory in our first home game of the new year.
