Furious fans have slammed the Premier League's decision to fine the breakaway Big Six a collective sum of just £22million as 'laughable' and 'embarrassing'.
Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham all secretly plotted the European Super League earlier this year before the project was brought down after mass protests from fans.
The six clubs avoided a point deduction for signing up to the plans and were instead fined just over £3.5m each - while they also agreed to cough up a further £25m and to a 30-point deduction if they try to leave the league again.
