Ex-Manchester United youngster Ryan Tunnicliffe wanted by host of Championship clubs as Fulham prepare to release midfielder on free

A host of Championship clubs are interested in signing Ryan Tunnicliffe, currently on loan at Wigan Athletic.

The 24-year-old is out of contract at Fulham this summer and available on a free transfer.

Bought from Manchester United for £1.2million back in January 2014, Tunnicliffe was part of the same FA Youth Cup winning side as Paul Pogba, Ravel Morrison and Jesse Lingard in 2011 and won the club's Jimmy Murphy Young Player of the Year award.

Reading, Huddersfield, Brentford, QPR, Ipswich, Cardiff and Nottingham Forest have all shown an interest while Wigan will also consider making his loan move permanent.
