Former Manchester United manager Ralf Rangnick gave a very blunt one-word reply when asked if he fancied the Germany job.
Hansi Flick was fired as Germany's coach on Sunday in the wake of a miserable 4-1 friendly defeat to Japan and a dreadful run of form by the Euro 2024 hosts.
Attention has turned to Flick's successor, with Rangnick - who is currently the coach of Austria - one of the prominent names in the frame.
The 65-year-old took the Austria job after his unsuccessful interim tenure at Old Trafford in 2021-22, following Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's sacking and Erik ten Hag's arrival.
