Everton 1-1 Manchester United: Leighton Baines rescues a point for hosts late on from the penalty spot to cancel out Zlatan Ibrahimovic's opener

Manchester United threw away the chance to record their first Premier League win in a month after conceding a late equaliser at Everton.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic looked to have proved the visitors' matchwinner - scoring minutes before half-time after lobbing an AWOL Maarten Stekelenburg.

However, Leighton Baines drew Everton level from the penalty spot deep into the second half following Marouane Fellaini's foul on Idrissa Gueye.
